Free Internet Baking Classes

I am extremely excited to announce that I am currently offering free Internet baking classes for adults and children.  Since we are being asked to stay in our homes and practice social distancing, I cannot think of a more enjoyable way to spend some time together.  In these classes we will be improving our baking skills, learning about the science of baking, and eliminating the need to go shopping for breads and desserts.

There are a few simple rules for you to follow if you want to participate in one or more of these classes.  First, you must complete and submit a form to me that gives me a little information about what you want to get out of the classes, what is your preferred time of day for the classes, and who will be in attendance at your home when you join a class.  The morning classes typically start at 9:30 AM CST and the afternoon classes at 1:30 PM CST. You can complete the form now by clicking on this link Free Internet Classes.  Please do not request a spot in a class until you have submitted your form.  If you do, I will simply send an email back to you informing you that you cannot attend a class without the form being submitted first.  After you submit your form you will receive an email back from me telling you what I expect from you next.

Once you are ready to participate in the classes, you can explore the class description pages.  On these pages you will see what ingredients you need to have in your home and if any special equipment is required for that particular class.  I ask that you please do not sign up for a class without the required ingredients and tools.  Since these classes are limited to a small amount of families at one time (currently no more than 10 homes at once), it will be unfair to the others because you are occupying a position and will not be able to complete the class.

On the class description page you will see a link to enter your name and email address.  I will be monitoring these pages and if I see we have enough interest in a class, I will schedule that class and inform you that the class has been scheduled.  If you are available to participate in that class, I will email you information that you will use to prepare your home just before the class starts.  I may also email you some tips to use in the class so that you can share those tips with the children.
